Semen Analysis

Our Analysis Service

A Semen Analysis is the examination of your semen sample under a microscope in the lab. We assess the number of sperm cells present, if they are moving correctly and if they have a normal shape. The results of this analysis may help to determine if a ‘male factor’ is likely to play a role in your fertility journey.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Select ‘Semen Analysis’  from the list of bookable services below.

Then check the calendar and choose an appointment date and time which is most suitable for you.

You will be asked to fill in a short health questionnaire. This allows us to interpret your results with better accuracy should something unusual be observed with your sample.

On the day of your appointment check-in at reception and a member of the lab team will meet you.

If you are a VHI Member please note that your discount only applies for patients who have had an initial consultation with ReproMed (per VHI terms & conditions).

I embarked on my fertility journey with ReproMed and am now the proud Mother of a beautiful six week old baby boy. From the beginning, the staff at ReproMed put my mind at ease. The level of care I received with every person was second to none, Declan in particular helped me keep the faith. I was kept informed on every part of the journey and genuinely felt supported by the staff and that they were behind me one hundred percent in fulfilling my dream to become a Mum. Thank you ReproMed for making dreams come true.
