Dr Conway, a native of County Down, is a highly experienced consultant with expertise in obstetrics, gynaecology, and fertility. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin's School of Medicine, she completed her specialist training through the Irish Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She gained extensive experience across Dublin's leading maternity hospitals, with additional training in Galway.
Following this, Dr Conway undertook a comprehensive 3.5-year fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Fertility in Sydney, working with IVF Australia at St. George Hospital and The Royal Women's Hospital. She returned to Dublin to finalise her training through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) before accepting a consultant position at Galway University Hospital (GUH) and Galway Fertility Clinic (GFC).
With two decades experience in fertility care, Dr Conway is among the few fertility consultants in Ireland who offer a full continuum of care across both the private and public sectors. She brings her depth of knowledge and skill to support patients through every stage of their journey, from Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART) and early pregnancy care to childbirth.
Dr Conway is also a key member of the HSE National Women and Infants Health Program, contributing as part of the Fertility Lead Network Committee, focusing on establishing ART services within the HSE.
