**PLEASE NOTE: In Ireland, egg donation must be done through a licensed egg bank, as private donations aren't allowed. If you're interested in donating, you’ll need to go through one of these regulated facilities.

Why Egg Donation?

In Egg donation, instead of using your own eggs, we use the eggs of a donor. There are a number of different diagnoses that may lead a doctor to recommend using a donor egg for an IVF treatment.

  • 1. Age: As we get older, our egg supply and quality naturally decrease, which can make getting pregnant a little harder.
  • 2. Premature Ovarian Insufficiency: Sometimes, the ovaries slow down sooner than expected, which can make it harder to conceive.
  • 3. Egg quality: Even when eggs are produced, they might not always fertilise or grow as we hope.
  • 4. Genetic reasons:In some cases, genetic conditions can make it harder to have a healthy pregnancy.

An introduction to our donor egg programmes

At ReproMed, we offer a range of Egg Donation programmes to support individuals and couples who need donor eggs to grow their family. Whether you’re looking for an anonymous or identifiable donor, want to stay in Ireland or travel abroad, or need flexibility around timing—our team will help you choose the path that’s right for you.

These programmes are carried out in conjunction with clinics that are part of our European Group and with whom we have very close relationships.
